PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Golden Touch barber training program is designed to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge of barbering techniques. The program emphasizes hands-on experience by providing training on the shop floor, where students can practice cutting hair and interacting with clients. Through our 1,000-hour program, students will learn various subjects such as:

• Haircutting and hairstyling
• Shaving techniques
• Skin care treatments
• Business management skills
• The history of barbering
• Safety and sanitation practices

The program is designed to prepare students for the state licensing exam and to provide them with the skills necessary to succeed as a barber. Upon completion of the program, graduates can pursue careers as professional barbers in a variety of settings, such as traditional barbershops, salons, and spas.

The Golden Touch Barber Program consists of 1,000 hours of training and is designed to prepare students for a successful career as a professional barber. Students will learn classic techniques as well as the latest industry trends and gain hands-on experience. The program covers subjects such as haircutting and hairstyling, shaving, skin care, business management, the history of barbering, and safety and sanitation.

Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to take the state licensing examinations and enter the workforce as licensed barbers.

The program has been approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and meets Texas state licensure requirements for barbering. Graduates of the program may pursue careers as barbers in a variety of settings, such as barber shops, salons, and spas.
